June 26th, 2008
I can hardly believe that June is almost over and the big 4th of July is soon upon us.

Our plans will be pretty much the same as usual.... Small town fun!!! We will take the kids to the local parade, "where every year I say, Classy Country Cockers needs to be in it". And every year it comes and goes and the crew is home where it is somewhat cool and quiet! Maybe Mr. Beaux can come this year, sporting a fancy B's Bandana! The afternoon brings swimming in the pool, a casual cook out then off to the fireworks, again small town, but for a small town they sure do put on a show. What I enjoy the most is going to the park and sitting on the hillside and watching all the people. Families, young and old, children playing catch with a football and sparklers going full steam a head. We sit in the same spot on the hill just like the numerous other families who make this their tradition! Kreg say one year we need to take the kids to Grant Park and stay downtown for the night and watch the fireworks in the city, "Chicago" that is. Speaking of Chicago.... Kreg and Aubrey and pretty pleased with the Cubs this year. Of course a true die hard cubs fan watches faithfully even when the lose. We have taken the family up to a game for a few years in a row for Aubreys birthday. this year we did not make it, her sign she worked so hard on still has a spot in her room.... "Win for my Birthday" They never won and she never made on TV but we still bring it along.

August brings with it more change here at CC's. My beautiful Honey B will be joining her brother Quincy in Chicago. Yes, she is retired. It won't be the same with her gone. She is the most beautiful buff girl I have here. She will however fit in nicely with her new family of children to play with. Carolina will also be leaving the Country.... She will be going to Texas to live with retired female Saluda! Tammy and Lee are looking forward to CC retiree #2!

The last couple of weeks have been a bit of a blur with things going on. I know I have neglected to make a couple of calls. I have regrouped and look forward to visiting with those I have missed. So send me out and email and we can touch base. With summer in full swing and no puppies to place right now, I am trying to take the weekends off, we are trying to get out of the house a bit with the kids and enjoy a bit of boating and Summer fun and we do have ball games 4 nights a week until mid July.

Enjoy your summer, Stephanie and the Crew
